The room at Le Clos du Montvinage was absolutely cozy and inviting. I loved the spacious bathroom with free toiletries and a heated towel rack. Having tea and coffee making facilities was a nice touch, and the magnifying mirror was very practical. After a long day of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to unwind and relax.
Personally, I didn't really enjoy the free Wi-Fi access. It was a bit slow for my liking, but hey, that's just me.

I must mention that the highlight of my stay has always been the delicious dinner prepared by the husband. Truly a joy!

The building itself was charming, giving off an old world vibe. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. They even provided tea making facilities, which was a rare find. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant since there were no other options nearby. the covered parking for our motorbikes and the locked courtyard gates at night added a sense of security. I would consider staying here again.
The rooms had a strange smell, but they were clean. the hotel seemed a bit shabby, with a messy garden and dirty furniture.

I recently stayed at Logis Le Clos Du Montvinage in Etreaupont for a few nights and it was a delightful experience. The hotel had a charming, traditional Northern French ambiance that I found very appealing. The owner and staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The menu offered a great selection of delicious dishes at affordable prices, complemented by a well-curated wine list. The location was convenient, just a couple of hours from the ferry ports, making it a perfect stopover. I highly recommend this charming and affordable hotel.
100% Recommend this hotel.

the breakfast was generous, and the menu selection offered a variety of dishes that were deliciously prepared. the staff was warm and friendly, ensuring that guests had a seamless stay. the hotel's location is conveniently located, making it easily accessible.
The hotel was situated near a noisy road that made it difficult to sleep at night. the restaurant's menu is quite limited, and some of the dishes were overly complicated and didn't quite work.

The charming vintage decor and ambiance of the hotel instantly transported me back in time. The carefully curated antique furniture and delicate floral patterns added a touch of elegance to every corner, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing ample space for senior guests to relax and enjoy their stay. Moreover, the hotel's accessibility features, such as easy-to-navigate hallways and ramps, were a blessing for someone like me, allowing me to move around comfortably without any hassle.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for fellow senior visitors would be to have a dedicated staff member available to assist with any specific needs or concerns that we may have. While the children working there were polite and helpful, having someone trained in catering to our unique requirements would greatly enhance our overall enjoyment and comfort during the stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made my stay enjoyable. The generous breakfast and varied evening menu provided delicious food options. I also appreciated the knowledgeable staff who were able to answer questions about the local environment.
There was a musty smell in the bedrooms, although they were clean. The garden was unkempt with dirty tables and chairs.

We got excellent value for our money at this charming, slightly dated hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the old property had a lovely character. The location was convenient with off-road parking, and communication with the hotel was easy before and during our stay.
The breakfast selection could be improved, maybe adding more variety to the menu.
